I wasn't able to start libreoffice either.

i had following error :

/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin: symbol lookup error:
/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/libmergedlo.so: undefined symbol:
_ZN14LanguageTagIcu12getIcuLocaleERK11LanguageTagRKN3rtl8OUStringE

but

sudo apt install --reinstall libreoffice

did work for me.

Cheers
matt
