Linux live image does not boot on new computer

Dear Daniel,

On my new laptop (see details below), neither the original Debian live
image nor the Progress live image (from
https://linux.bfh.ch/files/images/gnome-desktop/3.20151027-1/gnome-desktop_3.20151027-1_amd64.hybrid.iso)
boot into the gdm. All I get is "init ramfs" on the screen, then a few
coloured rectangles, then a black screen and the computer does not
respond any more.
Could you let me know when the live image gets updated so that I can try
again? Currently running Ubuntu Gnome on it, which works without problems.
