Ich freue mich sehr darüber, das zweite Data Visualization Meeting im Jahr 2022 ankünden zu dürfen! Am 8. September treffen wir uns von 17.00-18.30 an der Brückenstrasse 73 in Bern (Raum H033) und online (Link folgt noch). Eingeladen zum Präsentieren ist Simon Schmid, Datenjournalist von der Republik mit Praxisbeispiele aus dem Datenjournalismus. Zudem zeigt uns Jurek Müller vom IPST eine «Netzwerkvisualisierung», eine Übersicht über die Zusammenarbeit von politischen Parteien und Dominic Schweizer vom Digital Sustainability Lab präsentiert den aktuellen Stand des Projektes «Energiedatenplattform», eine Visualisierung basierend auf Energiedaten des Kanton Berns. Im Anschluss gibt es ein gemeinsames Fyrabebier, ein kleines Apéro und genügend Zeit für Austausch und Kennenlernen. Damit bietet das nächste Treffen erneut einen tollen Rahmen, um sich mit der Community auszutauschen, Data-Viz-Interessierte einzuladen und einander über aktuelle Aktualitäten zu informieren.

Dear members of the Data Visualization Group

I am very pleased to announce the second Data Visualization Meeting in 2022! On September 8, we will meet from 17.00-18.30 at Brückenstrasse 73 in Bern (room H033) and online (this link will follow in the next information email). Simon Schmid, data journalist from the «Republik» will be our guest and present onging journalistic work. In addition, Jurek Müller (IPST) will present his network visualization, an overview of the collaboration of political parties in Switzerland and Dominic Schweizer from the Digital Sustainability Lab will present the current status of an ongoing project based on energy data from the Canton of Berne. Afterwards, there will be a shared «fyrabe beer», a small aperitif and enough time for exchange and mingling.
Thus, the next meeting offers again a great framework to exchange with the community, to invite new Data-Viz-interested people and to inform each other about their actualities.
