Proprietary software in new jessie-based system?

Dear Daniel,

Thanks a lot for the responses! Unfortunately, they didn't get forwarded 
to my email address, so I only found them when viewing the mailing list 
history. I am also not able to retrieve my password or change the 
setting on the mailing list. Could you check if there is a tick mark 
that needs to be set so that the mailing list emails are forwarded to 
me? Sorry about that!

And one more question regarding software:
Should I also install Wuala using the .deb provided on their web page?
