Unfortunately I couldn't finish up last weekend as planned, but I'll try
to finish it this weekend.
Ideally (and this is how it will be :) you can just 'apt install' all
the packages you mentioned just like any other package.

virtualbox is in debian proper (well, in contrib.. so you need to have
contrib in your sources.list; let me know if you need more information
ont hat), you'll need to install virtualbox virtualbox-qt and
virtualbox-dkms packages.
What's missing in debian is the proprietary usb support extension, you
can either install that manually by downloading it from their website or
wait until next week when i've updated and uploaded my wheezy based
package of that.

These two have both a .deb package you can download from their websites
(choose the multiarch one respectively).
In order to install them, first, you need to enable i386 as a foreign
architecture on your amd64 system with:
dpkg --add-architecture i386
apt update
Then install the packages you downloaded manually with 'dpkg -i', and
use 'apt install -f' to get the missing depends automatically installed.

Install the googleearth-package from contrib.
Hope that helps, otherwise don't hesitate and let me know.
